A multidisciplinary artist, Carolyn Mount’s practice encompasses works involving printmaking, and site-specific installations exploring social and environmental systems between individuals and the world. Her series Places in Between studies the relationship between residential and industrial spaces, balancing between used and forgotten.
Carolyn Mount received a BA from the Redeemer University College in 1999, and completed her MFA at the University of Manitoba in 2015. She has exhibited extensively in Canada, and has been an educator and guest artist at various galleries and universities including the Vancouver Art Gallery and Emily Carr University. She recently completed a residency at Atelier Graff in Montreal.
